4-Room 39


Little is known about this secretive North Korean organization, but speculation says it counterfeits and launders mone.

Room 39 (also referred to as Bureau 39, Division 39) is a secretive Democratic People's Republic of Korea government organization that seeks ways to maintain the foreign currency slush fund of North Korea's leader Kim Jong-un.Room 39 was established in the late 1970s.

Room 39 is one of the most secret organizations in arguably the world’s most secretive state. Its mission is to obtain foreign currency for Supreme Leader of North Korea.The powerful entity, which has existed for decades, is believed to raise funds through business ventures, some legitimate and some not. 

The organization holds as much as $5 billion in funds, and may be involved in illegal activities, such as counterfeiting $100 bills (see Superdollar), production of controlled substances (including the synthesis of methamphetamine and the conversion of morphine-containing opium into pure morphine salts, like heroin) and international insurance fraud
